Williams testing shark fin engine cover

In the undergoing testing session at the Paul Ricard circuit in France, the AT&T Williams F1 team has joined Red Bull Racing and Renault by testing a modified ‘shark fin‘ engine cover. Nico Rosberg had the chance to test the new engine cover for the very first time. Such aerodynamic innovation, designed to improve the air flow to the rear wing, was first introduced by Red Bull on its RB4 car in February, in the testing session at the Circuit de Catalunya in Spain. The same aerodynamic engine cover solution has been implemented by Renault during Barcelona’s testing prior to the Spanish Grand Prix.
