F1 race startThree days after the Turkish Grand Prix, all the F1 teams were back on testing today at the Paul Ricard circuit in southern France. The teams will test in the French circuit in preparation for the upcoming Monaco Grand Prix (22nd, 24th and 25th May 2008) and the following race, the Canadian Grand Prix (6th, 7th and 8th June 2008) at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

In order to simulate the two circuits, the Paul Ricard circuit will have a shorter configuration for the first two days, more similar to Monte Carlo’s track, while a longer one will be tested on the last day, Friday.

Pedro de la Rosa and Lewis Hamilton will test for the McLaren-Mercedes F1 team, while Robert Kubica will test the F1.08 on Wednesday and Thursday and teammate Nick Heidfeld on Friday.
