Lewis Hamilton in talks with Reebok and Pepsi

Lewis HamiltonAccording to reports, McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton would be in talks for signing two multi-million dollar deals for personal sponsorship. Reebok, the British producer of athletic footwear currently a subsidiary of Adidas, would have proposed to Hamilton a $20m deal, for a ‘global brand ambassador’ role. The Times has reported that even the American drinks company PepsiCo has expressed its interest on the young Briton offering a deal ‘same as the Reebok contract, or substantially more’.

In the meantime, a McLaren-Mercedes spokesman has confirmed the Reebok deal talks.

The spokesman said: “Any marketing activity undertaken by Lewis on behalf of Reebok will be fully consistent with his existing obligations to McLaren, and will run in complete cooperation with Lewis’s primary marketing commitments to the team and its partners.”
