Fernando AlonsoDouble World champion Fernando Alonso is aiming to get back for the title fight next year but for now, he says that given the not so realistic chances of winning this year’s championship, he keeps having ‘fun with the car’ as the pressure is low. “I’m calmer now”, the Spaniard told a Spanish radio station. “I do not have the pressure of fighting for the championship or having to worry about losing a point here and there,” he explained.

“It allows me to have some fun with the car, and having lower pressure also means you can take more risks. Michael Schumacher left Benetton and spent four years without a title with Ferrari. This is my second year without a title, and hopefully there will not be so many more,” he added.
