Ferrari and Briatore dismiss Alonso-Massa rumors 

It has been reported this morning that Ferrari has dismissed the recent speculations on Fernando Alonso’s future at the wheel of a Ferrari single-seater in 2009. A spokesman of the Maranello-based team, told The Times: “There is no arrangement at all with Fernando and Ferrari. We have two drivers already contracted for next year: Mr Kimi Raikkonen and Mr Felipe Massa.”

Renault’s Team Principal, Flavio Briatore, has dismissed too such rumors. He said: “I consider a waste of time to get involved in hypothetical daydreams. Fernando is a great sportsman who will always give his best, and rumors I never comment on.”
