Jerez test Day 2: Fernando Alonso fastest 

During Day 2 of testing at Jerez Circuit in Spain, former Formula One World Champion Fernando Alonso made an excellent return at Renault by setting the fastest lap time. Alonso, managed to beat Pedro de la Rosa’s McLaren MP4-23 (2nd) and Kimi Raikkonen’s Ferrari F2008 (3rd), with last year’s Renault R27 single-seater.
