Rubens Barrichello to race in IndyCar series in 2009?

The German newspaper Bild has claimed that Rubens Barrichello, who will celebrate his 257th Grand Prix next month at the Turkish Grand Prix, has received an offer to end his racing career in the States. The newspaper claims that the Andretti-Green team asked the Brazilian to race in IndyCar series next year.
Furthermore, Barrichello’s contract with Honda will expire at the end of 2008 and Bild has suggested the possibility of a seat swap with Rubens going to IRL (Indy Racing League) and Marco Andretti to Formula One.
According to SpeedTV, Barrichello would have accepted such offer.
