Rumors: Giancarlo Fisichella to race for Force India? 

Although the Indian newspaper The Hindu reported last week that Force India will announce publicly the driver line-up for this season on January 11th, an English language news channel, Times Now, claimed earlier today that former Renault driver Giancarlo Fisichella, has already been selected as Adrian Sutil’s teammate for 2008 season because he has a major experience in F1 and that will certainly help the recently formed Indian F1 team.

But while such report remains still unconfirmed, Fisichella, dismissed categorically rumors that were giving him ready to rise money to secure Force India’s vacant seat. “I do not pay to drive, I get paid to drive. I do not bring sponsors to the team, the team brings sponsors to me. If I had 10 million bucks I’d stay home and watch F1 on TV!”, the Italian wrote on his personal webpage.
