McLaren-Mercedes to get again last garage

McLaren-Mercedes will get once again the last pit garage in the upcoming Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona. Norbert Haug, Mercedes-Benz Motorsport Vice President, confirmed to Motorsport Aktuell that the team will get the last set of garages at Circuit de Catalunya given the point penalty received in 2007 Constructors’ Championship for the spy scandal.
This will be the second consecutive Grand Prix with the Woking based demoted to the end of the pitlane as the FIA took a similar decision in the last Bahraini Grand Prix.
