Renault to inspect Raikkonen’s pit stop 

Two Spanish newspapers, Diario As and Marca, have reported on Tuesday that the Renault F1 team will inspect thoroughly Kimi Raikkonen‘s second pit stop during Sunday’s Hungarian Grand Prix. The Finn, thanks to a really quick refuelling, was able to gain one position to Fernando Alonso at the time steadily ahead of him.

The French team however remains doubtful on such a quick refuelling given the fact the standard fuel rigs should fill up the car’s tank at a uniform rate.

“I don’t know how they did it,” Fernando Alonso commented at the end of the Hungaroring race. “We will carefully study the data and see if they have something that allows them to fill up faster,” he added.
