Nico RosbergWilliams’ Nico Rosberg revealed to Swiss publication Motorsport Aktuell that he would like to see his friend and at the same time rival Lewis Hamilton joining the Grand Prix Drivers’ Association (GPDA), the F1 drivers union whose primary objective is to improve and maintain safety standards.

“What am I supposed to say to Lewis? He can decide for himself. The only thing is that I think it is a pity that there are leading F1 drivers that are not in the GPDA,” said the German.

Currently, Lewis Hamilton, Adrian Sutil, Anthony Davidson and Kimi Raikkonen are the only F1 drivers who have opted not to join the Association.
