Max Mosley not planning to resign?
According to Autosport, FIA’s President Max Mosley, despite the recent sex scandal video revealed by the British tabloid ‘News of the World‘, has no intention to resign. The Briton however, would have decided to cancel his planned travel in Bahrain for this weekend’s Grand Prix probably following an advice given by his friend Bernie Ecclestone.
“He shouldn’t go, should he? The problem is he would take all the ink away from the race and put it on something which, honestly and truly, is nobody else’s business anyway,” Ecclestone told The Times. Asked how the Bahraini Royal Family might react to Mosley’s presence, the Briton said: “They wouldn’t like it.”
“What Max should do is what he thinks is right because it is only him that’s involved, not the FIA. He must do what he believes, in his heart of hearts, is the right thing,” added Ecclestone when asked if Mosley should step down.
