Bruno Senna hoping for F1 debut in 2009

Ayrton Senna’s nephew, Bruno Senna, is hoping to debut in Formula 1 in 2009 season. “This is obviously the most important year in my career until now, it is now or never. If I can be champion in GP2 Series, I can have the opportunity to be in F1 next season. I want to be in F1 in 2009 or 2010. I am fast enough, and this season I want to prove this,” said the young Brazilian.
Following his uncle’s death in 1994 at Imola, Bruno’s family had banned him from racing for a long time. “The cars cannot be compared with those of fourteen years ago,” he explained, admitting that his mother Viviane Senna is still wary of his choice of career.
