2009 Malaysian Grand Prix to be held at night

Malaysian Grand Prix Sepang TowerAccording to latest reports, the 2009 Malaysian GP will be held at night in an effort to boost television audiences. Formula One Magament Chief Bernie Ecclestone, has confirmed to reporters on Sunday at Sepang’s Circuit that the local GP organizers have agreed to start next year’s race at 7 pm. “The organizers here in Malaysia know it is necessary, both to attract television audiences in Europe and the public here. It will be very good for the people in Malaysia and anyone coming to visit the race as it will be very exciting,” said Ecclestone.
