Vettel tops final Turkish practice
Rosberg second fastest, Hamilton third.
Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel has clocked the fastest lap in the final free practice session for Sunday’s Turkish Grand Prix at the Istanbul Park circuit.
The German completed 18 laps and clocked a best time of 1:27.086, 0.273 seconds quicker Mercedes GP’s Nico Rosberg (1:27.359).
Third time in the session for McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton (1:27.396) ahead of championship leader Mark Webber (1:27.553), Renault’s Robert Kubica (1:27.784), Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso (1:27.861), Mercedes GP’s Michael Schumacher (1:27.879), reigning world champion Jenson Button (1:27.963) and Ferrari’s Felipe Massa (1:27.969).
Tenth fastest time for Renault’s Vitaly Petrov (1:28.344), 11th for Toro Rosso’s Sebastien Buemi (1:28.610), 12th for Sauber’s Pedro de la Rosa (1:28.652), 13th Toro Rosso’s Jaime Alguersuari (1:28.734), 14th for Sauber’s Kamui Kobayashi (1:29.063) and 15th for Williams’ Nico Hulkenberg (1:29.044).
