Robert Kubica - Poland aiming to Polish GP - Grand PrixPoland could be the next destination to bid for a Grand Prix, according to rumors. Gdansk, a large port city in the north of the country, is planning a 5.7 kilometre circuit, to be built at a cost of some (US) $285 million, the German news agency Sid claimed. The popularity of Formula One in the central European country has increased considerably with the success of BMW Sauber’s Polish race driver, Robert Kubica. Poland has never hosted a round of the Formula One world championship.
