Ron DennisMcLaren-Mercedes’ Team Principal Ron Dennis has categorically denied that he, ‘anyone’ connected with his company (McLaren), or anyone acting on his behalf, had anything to do with the News of the World revelations on Max Mosley’ private life. The general secretary of the Czech Automobile Association, Radovan Novak, who among others is Mosley’s long-time friend and supporter, has speculated recently that the sex scandal published by the British tabloid may have been linked to the fine imposed last year by F1′s governing body on McLaren-Mercedes for the spy story.

“As I have consistently said whenever I have been asked about this, I categorically deny that I have anything to do with the News of the World’s investigation into Mr Mosley, neither does anyone connected with the McLaren Group or the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team,” Dennis was quoted as telling The Times newspaper. “Neither does any agent or any other party acting on behalf of myself or anyone connected with the McLaren Group or the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team.”
