Gerhard Berger downplays Toro Rosso’s Dubai buyout rumors 

Following his recent trip in Kuwait, Toro Rosso co-owner Gerhard Berger has played down rumors that he’s negotiating with investors from Dubai for the sale of the STR team. “To deduct that they are potential buyers is totally wrong,” the Austrian told to Motorsport Aktuell. “All the teams are always looking for new partners, but when Toro Rosso does it there is always talk of takeovers,” he added.

Berger has also made clear that his trip in Dubai was simply ‘a holiday with his family’.
