Jerez test, Day 2: Vettel stays on top on slicks
Toro Rosso’s Sebastian Vettel has topped again the timesheets on Day 2 of the four day test session at Jerez in Spain. The German, using Bridgestone’s slick tyres, run for 100 laps with his best in a time of 1:18.843. McLaren’s test driver Pedro de la Rosa finished second (1:19.081, 122 laps) ahead of Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen, third (19.446, 76 laps).
Fourth fastest time for Williams’ Nico Rosberg (1:19.861, 112 laps), fifth for Red Bull’s Mark Webber (1:20.021, 105 laps), sixth for Honda’s test driver Alexander Wurz (1:20.416, 77 laps), seventh for Toyota’s Jarno Trulli (1:20.534, 81 laps) and eighth for Force India’s Vitantonio Liuzzi (1:20.577, 102 laps).
