Jean TodtAccording to reports, former Ferrari Chief Executive Jean Todt would be on pole position to become the next President of the FIA if the 200 FIA Senate members vote against Max Mosley on June 3rd. During the Spanish Grand Prix weekend, paddock rumors were suggesting that Williams, Red Bull and Ferrari have refused to sign a joint statement with other teams in order to publicly request for Mosley’s resignation.

While Red Bull owner, Dietrich Mateschitz would have refused to sign given his long-standing friendship with the Briton, Williams wouldn’t welcome Jean Todt’s election, concerned about possible favouritism given the Frenchman’s past and present relationship with Ferrari.
