Jacques Villeneuve sets up driving academy

Jacques VilleneuveCanadian driver Jacques Villeneuve, Formula 1 World Champion in 1997, has set up a driving academy – the Jacques Villeneuve Academy – in a partnership with the ICAR (International Center of Advanced Racing) complex in Montreal.

Villeneuve will will use ICAR’s circuits to ‘transmit his passion for racing‘ to other upcoming young drivers. “Setting up my own, high-performance driving school is a great opportunity to give back to racing. I chose ICAR because of its ultramodern infrastructures and because their vision and their values perfectly aligned with my own,” explained the Canadian.

“Along with ICAR, my goal is to transmit my passion for racing and to increase the quality of experience for all the racing fans from around the world, whether they are beginners or experienced professionals,” he added.
