Honda RacingJust right when Scuderia Ferrari decided to revert for this season’s last three races to the traditional lollipop system instead of their semi-automatic light system which led to the disastrous pit stop during the Singapore Grand Prix, the Honda Racing F1 Team started in Fuji the evaluation of their own pit stop light system.

The Japanese Team evaluated the system for the first time during the pit stop practice on Thursday at the Fuji Speedway circuit and, according to reports, the team could even test it during the free practice in China and Brazil.

Honda’s Team Principal Ross Brawn, former Ferrari, who believes that such system is safer than the traditional lollipop, has suggested that if their test is successful, the team will introduce it right from the first Grand Prix in Australia next year.
