Hekki KovalainenMcLaren’s Heikki Kovalainen has been given a 5-place grid penalty for Sunday’s French Grand Prix for having blocked Mark Webber during this afternoon’s qualifying session. The Finn, who managed to qualify sixth, will now start the race from the 10th spot as with Hamilton’s penalty applied he would have been on P5. This means that BMW’s Robert Kubica will move to P5, Red Bull’s Mark Webber to P6, David Coulthard to P7, Toyota’s Timo Glock to P8 and Renault’s Nelson Piquet jr to P9.
