German GP: Lewis Hamilton will race

Lewis Hamilton Qualifiers Crash German GP 2007McLaren Mercedes British driver, Lewis Hamilton, has been cleared to race in today’s European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring after passing a medical test this morning. Hamilton’s participation in today’s GP was in doubt after he was taken to hospital following a heavy crash during yesterday’s Qualifier Session. Lewis was examined this morning shortly after arriving at the track; FIA Medical Delegate Dr. Gary Hartstein and Chief Medical Officer of the event, Dr. Klaus U. Zerbian gave him the ok for racing today. The world championship leader will start from 10th place on the grid.
