Gerhard Berger seeks STR buyers in Kuwait 

According to reports, Scuderia Toro Rosso co-owner Gerhard Berger has traveled in Kuwait in order to seek for potential buyers of the Faenza based team. Dietrich Mateschitz, Red Bull owner and Toro Rosso co-owner, has stated recently that he’s planning to sell his 50% share of STR and the Arab Times newspaper has now revealed that Berger was invited by Anwar Bukhamseen, the President of the Kuwait International Automobile Club (KIAC).

“I see great potential, and I am hopeful that one day we can develop a team,” Berger said in a press conference.”If there is a team in the country, you are in action every fourteen days.”

“There is a chance for development. I am expecting to meet more Kuwaiti businessmen who are willing to be part of this project to develop motor sport in Kuwait,” the Austrian added.
