Fernando Alonso: “Renault a long way behind”

During the penultimate test session currently ongoing in Barcelona, the two-times World Champion Fernando Alonso appeared frustrated with Renault’s R28 performance. “Where are we? Quite a long way behind. We are not in a position to do anything about McLaren, Ferrari or BMW. Ferrari are favorites but they’re not in a different world. We however belong more to the group including Williams and Red Bull,” the Spaniard was quoted saying to local news agency EFE.
