Anthony DavidsonFollowing Super Aguri’s withdrawal from Formula 1 given the known financial difficulties, Anthony Davidson vows to stay in the world of Formula One racing. The British driver, a Honda test driver for many years, was able to earn a full time drive with the Leafield based team in 2006. “I am fully confident of my ability behind the wheel, and I’m sure things will be better for me in the future. I want to stay in F1 and that’s the priority at the moment and for the future. It’s what I have to do, it’s what I’m trained to do,” the Briton told BBC.

“I really want to concentrate and get a good chance to do it properly. I really feel it’s unfinished business for me in F1. I feel it’s where I belong”, he added.

“You only begin to realise just how much you love it when it’s taken away from you. You never know in this game what can happen. You ride the ups and downs on this rollercoaster, and if it’s been a downward slope today, then I’m sure we’ll bounce back. Super Aguri’s withdrawal is sign of the times, privateer teams can’t survive now”.
