Monza test, Day 2: Nick Heidfeld tops the times
Nick Heidfeld ended on top of the timesheets on day 2 of testing at the Autodromo di Monza circuit in Italy. The German completed 89 laps with his best in a time of 1:22.621, 0.25 seconds faster than Williams’ Nico Rosberg (1:22.879, 100 laps). Rosberg was followed by McLaren’s Heikki Kovalainen (1:23.341, 92 laps) ahead of Toro Rosso’ Sebastian Vettel (1:23.424, 47 laps) and Felipe Massa (1:23.445, 86 laps).
Fernando Alonso finished sixth (1:23.606) followed by Adrian Sutil seventh (1:23.823), Mark Webber eighth (1:23.936), Jarno Trulli ninth (1:24.158) and Sebastien Bourdais tenth (1:24.311).
