A set of stamps and a wax figure for Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton2008 Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton, the youngest ever drivers’ title winner in F1, will get two important acknowledgements in the next months following the title win. The young Briton will appear on a set of six stamps that the Isle of Man – the island famous for hosting since 1907 the Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) motorcycle Race - will issue. In order to celebrate the Briton’s F1 title, a set of six stamps featuring images of his championship year will be put up for sale by the Isle of Man’s Post Office on January 15th 2009.

Hamilton will also have his personal wax figure at London’s Madame Tussauds wax museum. The Briton, recently underwent 300 measurements in view of joining the museum’s ‘Sports Zone’ in 2009.
