2009 Belgian GP: Heidfeld tops Saturday practice
BMW’s Nick Heidfeld has climbed on top of the timesheets in the final practice for Sunday’s Belgian Grand Prix at Spa. The German completed 17 laps, the quickest in 1:45.388 beating by 0.074 seconds Toyota’s Jarno Trulli (1:45.462).
Third time for Force India’s Adrian Sutil (1:45.677) ahead of Renault’s Romain Grosjean (1:45.878), Toyota’s Timo Glock (1:45.908), BMW’s Robert Kubica (1:45.987), Williams’ Nico Rosberg (1:46.040) and Force India’s Giancarlo Fisichella (1:46.114).
Ninth time for reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton (1:46.301) followed by championship leader Jenson Button (1:46.406), Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen (1:46.409) and Toro Rosso’s Sebastien Buemi (1:46.417).
20th time for Red Bull’s Mark Webber with no time set.
The drivers will be back at the Spa circuit in less than 2 hours for the qualifying session for Sunday’s race.
