2009 Malaysian Grand Prix: Rosberg fastest in final free practice
Williams’ Nico Rosberg has topped the timesheets in the final free practice for Sunday’s 2009 Malaysian Grand Prix. The German completed 19 laps, the fastest in 1:35.940, 0.108 seconds faster than Red Bull’s Mark Webber (1:36.048).
The Australian was followed by Ferrari’s Felipe Massa (1:36.089), Toyota duo with Jarno Trulli (1:36.132) ahead of teammate Timo Glock (1:36.189), Sebastian Vettel (1:36.194), Kimi Raikkonen (1:36.322) and Kazuki Nakajima (1:36.325).
12th fastest time for reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton (1:36.657), followed by teammate Heikki Kovalainen (1:36.742) and Renault’s Fernando Alonso (1:37.004).
The drivers will be back on the Malaysian track in less than two hours for the 2009 Malaysian Grand Prix qualifying session.
