2008 Spanish GP, Nick Heidfeld fastest in final free practice

BMW’s Nick Heidfeld clocked the fastest lap time on the final free practice for the 2008 Spanish Grand Prix. The German who lapped in 1:21.269 , was followed by David Coulthard (1:21.465) and Fernando Alonso (1:21.599). Fourth best time for Heidfeld’s teammate, Robert Kubica (1:21.717). Felipe Massa finished 9th (1:22.075), Lewis Hamilton 11th (1:22.094) while Kimi Raikkonen 13th (1:22.176) and Heikki Kovalainen 15th (1:22.220). Red Bull’s Mark Webber had a throttle problem and his car halt in the pitlane exit before he could complete a flying lap.
The drivers will be back on track in about an hour for the Qualifying session.
