2008 Brazilian Grand Prix: Fernando Alonso tops final free practice

Fernando AlonsoDuring the third and final practice for Sunday’s Brazilian Grand Prix at the Interlagos circuit, Renault’s Fernando Alonso has topped again the timesheets. Alonso clocked a best time of 1:12.141, 0.071 seconds faster than McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton (1:12.212) who was followed by his teammate Heikki Kovalainen (1:12.225). Fourth time for Felipe Massa (1:12.312), fith for Sebastian Vettel (1:12.389), sixth for Nick Heidfeld (1:12.402) and seventh for Sebastien Bourdais (1:12.426).

The drivers will be back on track in less than half an hour for the last Qualifying session of the season.
