2008 Canadian GP, Nico Rosberg fastest in final free practice

Williams’ Nico Rosberg has clocked the fastest lap time (1:16.555) in the final free practice session for the Canadian Grand Prix. Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen finished second with a best time of 1:16.589 and was followed by Lewis Hamilton (1:16.725), Felipe Massa (1:16.787), Kazuki Nakajima (1:16.898), Jarno Trulli (1:16.946), Heikki Kovalainen (1:16.952) and Nelson Piquet jr. (1:17.060).
The session was red flagged 15 minutes before the end following Sebastian Vettel’s crash. The young German lost control of the STR3 at Turn 9 and hit the wall with the right side.
The drivers will be back on track in two hours for the Qualifying session.
