Sebastian VettelScuderia Toro Rosso’s Sebastian Vettel will not take part in the undergoing qualifying session for Sunday’s race in Montreal as the mechanics couldn’t repair the German’s car in time for the session. Vettel crashed into the wall of Turn 9 during this morning’s final free practice and damaged heavily his STR3.

Vettel’s teammate, Sebastien Burdais, had also an accident this morning. The Frenchman crashed on the same wall hit by the German. Despite the not so heavy damage, the Frenchman will get a five place grid penalty on Sunday’s grid as his mechanics were forced to replace the gearbox.
