2008 Spanish GP, 1st Free Practice Session: Raikkonen fastest

Kimi RaikkonenOn the first free practice session for the 2008 Spanish Grand Prix, Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen set the fastest lap time (1:20.649, 17 laps) followed by teammate Felipe Massa (1:20.699, 9 laps) and McLaren-Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton (1:21.192, 20 laps). Robert Kubica had the fourth fastest time while Heikki Kovalainen the fifth, ahead of Fernando Alonso (6th), Nelson Piquet (7th), David Coulthard (8th), Nick Heidfeld (9th) and Jenson Button (10th) rounding out the top ten.
