Williams leave Barcelona test session

Following Kazuki Nakajima’s high speed crash on Circuit de Catalunya barriers on Friday, the AT&T Williams F1 team has decided to abandon one day earlier their tests at Barcelona as they ’couldn’t implement an appropriate short term solution‘ for their FW30 front wing issue. Williams Technical Director Sam Michael told reporters: “We could not implement an appropriate short term solution so we decided to return to the factory to address it in time for the Jerez test in just over a week’s time”.
