The AT&T Williams team, following Kazuki Nakajima’s heavy crash on Circuit de Catalunya barriers this morning, has decided to stop earlier their testing program for today in order to investigate and fix a possible front wing mounting issue on the FW30. Although the Japanese driver crashed at high speed, he was able to exit from his single-seater unharmed. A Williams spokesman told Reuters: “It was related to a front wing mounting issue which will be fixed and the car will be running again tomorrow”.
