Michael Schumacher and his manager Willi WebeWilli Weber, Michael Schumacher‘s long-time manager would have labeled as ‘stupid‘ the recent press criticisms that the seven time Formula 1 World Champion may have played a key role in the disastrous decisions that Ferrari took on Sunday during the 2009 Malaysian Grand Prix.

According to the German press, Schumacher’s manager would have also told to a publication that the former Ferrari driver – currently retained in the role of a team advisor – could leave the Maranello based team as his contract expires at the end of the year. “It could be, but no decision has been taken yet. We have to meet first in the next months,” Weber would have said.

Shortly after Sunday’s race at Sepang, German media claimed that Michael Schumacher would have been among of those who suggested to fit the Bridgestone rain tyres on Kimi Raikkonen‘s F60 during lap 18 despite the circuit was still dry. A disastrous decision that ruined the Finn’s race.
