USA Grand Prix: Tony George confirm talks to bring back Indy 

Tony George, owner of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the United States, has confirmed that talks are under way to bring back in the F1 calendar the USA Grand Prix, which for the first time since 1999, won’t host an F1 race this season. “We need to improve the financial performance of the event in order to justify bringing it back, and we won’t do that without sponsorship,” the American told a local radio station.”We’re talking to some folks that may have interest, and that could happen as early as 2009 if we can go to Bernie with a proposal,” he added.
