Vitantonio LiuzziForce India’s Vitantonio Liuzzi has been given by the Brazilian Grand Prix stewards a five place grid penalty after his team had to replace his gearbox.

The Italian damaged badly his car during Q2 when he aquaplaned and lost control at the main straight, smashing into the pitwall and sliding across the track.

With Liuzzi starting the Brazilian Grand Prix from the 20th spot, title contender Sebastian Vettel will move up one place, to P15, next to championship leader Jenson Button.
