Tobacco brands will no longer appear on Ferrari’s livery

Ferrari F1 Team Hungarian Grand PrixAccording to Autoweek magazine, Scuderia Ferrari would have decided that tobacco brands ‘will no longer appear on its cars’. Following Renault’s, McLaren’s and Honda decision to opt-out from placing tobacco related logos on their cars as anti-advertising laws are now more restrictive in Europe and around the World, it’s believed that the Maranello based team has followed the same path by keeping only the “barcode” livery.

In the Bahraini Grand Prix, where in theory the local laws would allow the Italian team to display the tobacco advert, both F2008 run with the livery usually applied in the countries where tobacco advertising is forbidden.
