Silverstone tests, Day 3: Lewis Hamilton fastest

Lewis HamiltonLewis Hamilton set the fastest time in the third and last testing day at Silverstone ahead of next Sunday’s British Grand Prix. Hamilton’s best lap was of 1:19.170, six tenths faster than Timo Glock (P2, 1:19.815). The German, was followed by Kimi Raikkonen (P3, 1:20.321, 60 laps), Fernando Alonso (P4, 1:20.862, 78 laps), Nick Heidfeld (P5, 1:21.011, 93 laps), Kazuki Nakajima (P6, 1:21.059, 70 laps), Adrian Sutil (P7, 1:21.331, 71 laps), Rubens Barrichello (P8, 1:21.344, 94 laps) and Sebastien Bourdais (P9, 1:21.432, 76 laps).

Last place today for David Coulthard, who had an unfortunate day. The Scot following an incident with Timo Glock and an engine problem in the afternoon was able to complete only 31 laps.
