Silverstone, saturday morning practice: Ferrari one step ahead

Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen ahead in 2nd Free practice Session of French Grand PrixIn the free practice session that precedes Qualifiers, Raikkonen was again the fastest driver, in front of Alonso’s McLaren, Massa and Hamilton. Excellent 7th place for Vitantonio Liuzzi with his Toro Rosso.

Silverstone, Saturday July 7th 2007 – Excellent free practice session for Ferrari this morning. Kimi Raikkonen established the best lap time of this session with 1’19”751 confirming his amazing condition. The Finnish driver was in front of Fernando Alonso’s McLaren by 0.169 seconds and by 0.218 seconds from his teammate Felipe Massa. Lewis Hamilton was fourth, 0.500 seconds behind Kimi. Fifth place for Nico Rosberg’s Williams but with almost 1 second from Raikkonen. All other drivers had a gap of over 1 second. Nice 7th place for Vitantonio Liuzzi.

In about an hour, the Qualifier Session for tomorrows’ race at Silverstone will take place; let’s see who will manage to get the Pole Position.
