Sakhir International Circuit, BahrainFerrari’s Kimi Raikkonen has confirmed during Thursday’s press conference in Bahrain that – at least in Friday practice – he will not use the KERS system on his F60. The Maranello based team however will reinstate the system on his team mate’s – Felipe Massa – single seater.

“I will not use the KERS tomorrow,” said Raikkonen during the FIA press conference. “The other car will run it and then we will make the decision which way we go,” he added.

“We either take it and use it if we don’t have any issues with it and we will put it also in my car but really we want to look a little bit and compare the two cars with and without and see a little difference,” he explained. “That’s our main thing tomorrow.”
