Nico Rosberg: “Difficult to keep P2 in Monaco qualifying” 

Williams’ Nico Rosberg has stated that it will be difficult for him to remain the second quickest driver at the Monaco weekend. The German on Thursday’s free practice 2, finished in P2 and was beaten only by McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton. Despite that, Rosberg is expecting to be outpaced in Saturday’s qualifying session.

“I do not think it will be repeatable for qualifying,” Rosberg explained to Motorsport Aktuell. “I do think however, we can be among the fastest six though. I am glad that we seem to be pretty good, but we must also be careful. To beat Ferrari in qualifying is going to be very, very difficult. But I tend to think we might have a BMW behind us,” he added.
