Nick Heidfeld impressed with McLaren launch system

While most of Formula 1 drivers have agreed that Scuderia Ferrari should have the best car for now, BMW’s Nick Heidfeld believes that McLaren-Mercedes can rely on a more efficient starting system compared to F2008′s. “McLaren have a starting system that allows Lewis and Heikki to pull away with only 9,000 revs. On the other hand, we need to use much higher speeds when we begin to accelerate,” the German was quoted as saying to Sport Bild.
