Michael Schumacher to test at Jerez
A Ferrari spokesman confirmed that seven times World Champion Michael Schumacher will test two more days on December 4th, when Jerez test session will occur. The Spanish newspaper Diario As quoted the Ferrari spokesman as saying: “We haven’t arranged the program yet but he will do a couple of days.”
In the meantime, Sam Michael, Williams’ Technical Director, stated to the British broadcaster ITV, that Michael Schumacher’s Barcelona return indicates that the German champion could easily return as a highly competitive GP driver. “Bloody hell. That was impressive what he did at Barcelona. It was incredible,” Sam Michael said. “I’m surprised he doesn’t come back to be honest. If he seriously got into a top car for next year he could win the world championship again. But I think he has made his decision to retire and he wants to stick with it,” he added.
