Michael Schumacher on KTM Super Duke 990Former Ferrari driver, Michael Schumacher, following his race debut in Hungary (Scoox Cup) a couple of weeks ago with a Honda CBR 1000RR, had another two-wheel race on Sunday at Misano’s Circuit in Italy, this time with a KTM Super Duke 990. The German, who qualified third on Saturday, finished Sunday’s race in fourth position.

“It was fun. At the start I was a bit too careful, I didn’t begin well and I was well behind, 14th. Then I found my way and started overtaking and it was great,” he said after the race.

However, Schumacher made clear that he is not planning a second career start in two wheel racing. “This is not the start of a second career. Even if I do a race from time to time that does not mean anything else than I do it because I want to enjoy myself,” he said. “I just enjoy motorbiking. I do not have any ambitions to step into any kind of racing series,” he added.
