Michael Schumacher: “F2008 is better than F2007 in all areas”

Test Day 1 at Barcelona Circuit, Micheal Schumacher comebackAt the end of yesterday’s test session and after having tested Ferrari’s F2008 for the first time, Michael Schumacher met reporters and talked about him, the new car and the upcoming F1 championship. “Driving for me is still fun, as long as it is not too often. We’ve completed our program and I’m really satisfied with the new car as it’s better than last year’s in all areas. The F2008 it’s easy to drive, even without traction control.”

“The world championship will be fought again between us and McLaren-Mercedes, just like last year. However, I see Ferrari’s advantage as not as big as many believe.”

During the interview with reporters, Schumacher took also the chance to dismiss categorically the recent rumors that he could race this season in a MotoGP Grand Prix with Ducati. “It is an absolute lie. At the most, I can race on a scooter,” he said to Italian sports newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport.
